Jewelry, purse taken from unlocked car

Burglars entered an unlocked car while it was parked at its owner’s home in the 100 block of East Carver Drive between 12:01 and 8:30 a.m. Sunday and stole baby clothing, child care equipment, a purse and jewelry with a total value of $6,360, Athens-Clarke police said.
